Origin & Terroir of Jasmine Green Tea

Green Tea Base (Emei Mountain, Sichuan)

This Jasmine Green Tea is made with a green tea base from Emei Mountain, Sichuan (above 800m). We use post-Qingming spring material in this version, which has slightly higher maturity and a stronger tea character than Tribute Piao Xue . This creates a bolder tea taste and a more pronounced sweet aftertaste, while still carrying a clean jasmine aroma.

Jasmine Flowers (Hengxian, Guangxi)

The jasmine flowers come from Hengxian (now Hengzhou), Guangxi, one of the major production regions for jasmine flowers and Jasmine Flower Tea. We use 5-round scenting to create a fuller, longer-lasting jasmine aroma. The flowers are hand-picked, and the process requires significant time and flower volume, resulting in higher production cost.

Our Sourcing Method

We do not rely on a single fixed farm, as tea quality can vary from year to year with climate, harvest timing, and processing conditions. Instead, we review and taste samples from multiple sources each season, then select the version that offers the best balance of stability, aroma, and drinking experience.

For this Jasmine Green Tea, we place particular emphasis on tea base quality, leaf integrity, jasmine aroma richness, and a clear sweet aftertaste—resulting in a well-balanced Chinese jasmine tea that is suitable for daily drinking while still refined enough for serving guests.
