The Chinese people are known for their hard work, especially the farmers. My grandfather and father were no exception. In their early years, they diligently cultivated Chinese tea, including Yunnan black tea, white tea, raw Pu-erh tea, and ripe Pu er tea. However, due to international trade embargoes against China from the 1960s to the 1980s, their efforts yielded little income. Fortunately, even in such difficult circumstances, my father ensured that I received a better education, which gave me the opportunity and ability to expand our tea business globally.
