Yue Guang Bai offers a harmonious blend of floral and honey aromas, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate a smooth, sweet taste in white tea. Its rich flavor profile and excellent value make it perfect for daily enjoyment, especially for newcomers to white tea.
With aging, the aroma gradually becomes deeper and mellower, as the fresh floral notes soften and evolve into a subtle dried plum (ume) nuance. Bitterness and astringency continue to fade, making it even more forgiving for longer steeping and also well-suited for simmering.

This Yue Guang Bai (Moonlight White Tea) comes from Jinggu County, Pu’er, Yunnan, China, sourced from the core producing area of Yangta Village. The material is from Jinggu Dabai (Camellia sinensis cv. ‘Jinggu Dabaicha’), a relatively rare triploid tea cultivar within the Yunnan large-leaf tea system.
Compared with the more delicate, bud-forward styles, this Yue Guang Bai is positioned as a better-value Yunnan white tea with a stronger tea taste. The cup is typically fuller and more tea-forward, while still keeping a clean sweetness and a comfortable lingering finish—making it an easy daily Chinese white tea for drinkers who want more “tea body” without harshness.
We don’t lock sourcing to one fixed farmer or a single garden, because tea is an agricultural product and quality can vary year to year. Each season, we collect samples through multiple channels and repeatedly test and taste them.

For Yue Guang Bai (Moonlight White Tea), we prioritize value-for-money, a stronger tea character, liquor clarity, clean sweet aroma, and stable brewing endurance. We then select the lot that tastes fuller and more consistent—so it performs well as a reliable, everyday Yunnan white tea.
